Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is Georgia’s program that allows high school students (11th-12th grades) to earn college credit while also working on their high school diplomas. The program covers tuition, mandatory fees, and textbooks for up to 30 hours of college credit.

Dual enrollment aims to expand opportunities by increasing the number of courses students can take for college credit and removing financial barriers to student participation. The goal is to increase college access and completion, and to prepare students for the workforce with the necessary skills for success.

Catoosa County Public Schools (including the College & Career Academy) is partnered with Dalton State College and Georgia Northwestern Technical College to offer dual enrollment.

Students must meet college eligibility requirements to participate.
